Woman Hospitalized Following Firetruck Collision In Central PA (Photos) A woman was hurt when her car slammed into a firetruck on Tuesday, authorities announced on July 27, 2023. The woman was driving her Subaru at a high rate of speed in the 1200 block of East Lisburn Road near Gutshall Lane in Upper Allen Township when she lost control of her vehicle, area police detailed in a release on Thursday. HazMat: Eggs Ooze Into Creek In Mercersburg (Photos) A hazardous materials clean-up crew was called to a cracking situation in Mercersburg. The tractor-trailer carrying eggs had some of its cargo break open and leak into the West Branch Conococheague Creek, according to the Mercersburg Area Fire Fighters and EMTs, IAFF Local 5421. The emergency crews were called to the mess in the 9100 block of Heisey Road around 3 p.m. on Tuesday, July 27, 2023. The road reopened later that day.

Miles Of Traffic Backups On I-81 In Central PA Sudden lane closures have led to miles of backups on Interstate 81 in Central Pennsylvania on Thursday evening, authorities say. There is a crash on I-81 North between exits 72 B Linglestown and 77: PA 39 Manada Hill /Hershey on July 27, 2023, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.
