Security Guard Shot At Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center A 34-year-old man shot at a security guard during an argument at the Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center last month, police announced on Thursday, Aug. 17, 2023. Steven Woodson was in "a physical altercation with another patron of HMAC" on July 14, city police stated in the release. "After Woodson and the patron were separated, Woodson pulled out a handgun and fired one round at the patron." HAZMAT: Asphalt Spills On US-15, PennDOT Officials Say (Update) A tanker truck carrying bituminous oil, commonly known as asphalt, crashed on US Route 15 on Thursday, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. The truck blew a tire and veered off US 15 going into the woods — spilling asphalt the entire time, according to PennDOT spokesperson Frizti Schreffler. PA Nurse Accused Of Neglecting Patient To Death: AG A statewide investigation has led to the arrest of a 56-year-old nurse Harrisburg nurse, according to Pennsylvania Attorney General Michelle Henry. Eliut Lopez Enriquez is accused of neglecting and mistreating an 80-year-old resident at Gardens at Blue Ridge located at 3620 North Progress Avenue, Susquehanna Township, Harrisburg, the AG explained in a release on Tuesday, Aug. 15. PA Mom Of 2 Dies After Getting Impaled At County Fair In Freak Accident A 33-year-old Pennsylvania mom has died after part of a tractor broke off and hit her in the neck at a county fair, authorities said.
