Drunk Central PA Man Who Struck Dead Woman In Crosswalk Turns Himself In, Police Say Over two months after Emily Compton was struck dead the man accused of hitting her has turned himself in, authorities announced on Thursday, Nov. 2. Douglas Lee Gibb, 64, of Carlisle turned himself over to authorities at Magisterial District Judge Birbeck's office on Oct. 30. Emily C. Woman Jumps From Moving Vehicle During Traffic Stop In Central PA, Police Say A 38-year-old woman jumped out of a moving vehicle during a traffic stop, police announced on Thursday, Nov. 2. Marybeth DeJesus of Enola was spotted making a traffic violation at Market Street and South Enola Drive around 11:50 p.m. on Oct. 26, the East Pennsboro Police detailed in a release. Justice Corcino of York was found with "life-threatening stab wounds" in the 900 block of East Philadelphia Street in York City at 1:02 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 30, York City police detailed in a release and a family friend, Desiree Stewart confirmed in a GoFundMe. Christine Stewart of Hershey suffered head trauma, lost consciousness, and later died at Hershey Medical Center on Oct. 31, state police detailed.
