Driver Heads To Edison After Car Is Smashed By NJ Transit Trai An NJ Transit train struck a car in Fair Lawn on Thursday, May 22, and the driver took off, leaving behind the bumper, trunk lid, and license plate, authorities said. Driver Blows Stop Sign, Crashing Into Van With Kids On Board In Ocean County: Police Three people were hospitalized after a two-vehicle crash at a Manchester intersection on Wednesday, May 21, police said. The crash happened around 2:40 p.m. at Broadway Boulevard and Beacon Street, according to the Manchester Township Police Department. Man Struck, Killed By NJ Transit Train In Hackensack: Officials NJ Transit rail service was suspended along the Pascack Valley Line due to a fatal pedestrian strike in Bergen County on Thursday morning, May 22, officials said. Fatal Lirr Train Crash In Amityville: What We Know A person was struck and killed by an LIRR train Thursday morning, May 22 on Long Island, officials confirmed. The crash happened in Amityville at approximately 5:30 a.m., according to Ray Raimundi, a spokesperson for the MTA. The westbound train was headed to the Amityville Station when the crash occurred.
