She spent 17 years at Florida Today in Melbourne, Florida as a general assignment reporter, crime reporter, entertainment reporter and restaurant critic. She worked four years at Hometown News as a general assignment reporter, then another two years at Spacecoast Daily in Cocoa Beach, Florida. She attended Eastern Florida State College in Melbourne, Florida.

Man Crossing I-95 In Stamford Hit, Killed By Tractor-Trailer A man who was crossing I-95 was hit and killed by a tractor-trailer in Fairfield County. The crash took place around 8:45 p.m. in Stamford on Sunday, Sept. 17 near Exit 8. According to the Connecticut State Police, a tractor-trailer was traveling northbound in the right lane when an unidentified man crossing the highway was struck in the right lane. The victim was transported to Stamford Hospital where he was pronounced dead, state police said. Police are waiting for identification from the Connecticut Officer of the Chief Medical Examiner. Know Them? Trio Wanted For Damaging Long Island Business, Police Say Police are asking the public for help identifying three men who allegedly damaged property at a Long Island business. The incident took place in Montauk on Saturday, Sept. 2 at Marshall's and Sons Service Center located at 701 Montauk Highway. According to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and East Hampton Town Police Department detectives the three men damaged property and a vehicle and stole items. Danbury Man Found Guilty Of Sexual Assault, Child Porn Charges A Fairfield County man has been found guilty of multiple sexual assault and child pornography charges by a jury. Kenneth Gardner, age 53, of Danbury, was found guilty of the crimes on Monday, Sept. 11 in Superior Court, said David R. Applegate, Danbury State’s Attorney. Traffic Alert: Expect Lane Closures During Route 17K Upgrades In Hudson Valley Commuters can expect lane closures and reductions along Route 17K in the Hudson Valley during a culvert replacement. The closures begin in Orange County in the town of Montgomery on Monday, Sept. 18 at 7 a.m., said the New York State Department of Transportation. Cocaine, Fentanyl Dealer Nabbed In Hudson Valley, Police Say A 37-year-old alleged cocaine and fentanyl dealer was nabbed by police investigating drug sales in the Hudson Valley. Dutchess County resident Michael Graham, age 37, of the city of Poughkeepsie was scooped up in Pershing Avenue Park by agents on Thursday, Sept. 14. According to Sgt.
