Traffic Alert: Roadway To Close For Building Demolition In Darien Drivers in Fairfield County will need to adjust their travel route for more than a week as a 3-story building is demolished. Corbin Drive in Darien will be closed at Post Road beginning Monday, Sept. 25 through Tuesday, Oct. 3 for the demolition of the building at 10 Corbin Drive, Darien Police said. The road will be closed daily from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. daily. The businesses located on Corbin Drive will be open and accessible during these times by using the Old King’s Highway South end of Corbin Drive, officials said.

The incidents took place in New Haven around 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 21 when the New Haven Fire Department responded to a call of an unconscious woman in the 300 block of Howard Avenue. Upon arrival, fire department personnel determined that the woman was suffering from an overdose. Hudson Valley Drug Dealer Busted By Task Force, Police Say A Hudson Valley alleged drug dealer was busted by the Drug Task Force following a warrant search of his home. Dutchess County resident Anthony Howlett, age 32, from the town of Poughkeepsie, was charged on Thursday, Sept. 21 with criminal sale of a controlled substance. According to Det. Sgt. Adam Harris, of the Dutchess County Drug Task Force, agents opened an investigation into Howlett for selling narcotics in the Poughkeepsie area.
