Mount Sinai Man Killed In Crash Between Car, Tow Truck A Long Island man was killed after running into the back of a tow truck stopped in the roadway. The crash took place in Coram around 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 9. Woman Found Dead Behind Building In Hudson Valley, Police Say Police are asking the public for help after a woman was found dead behind a building in the Hudson Valley. The incident took place in Orange County in Newburgh around 9 a.m., Monday, Aug. 8. According to Newburgh Police, a 55-year-old woman was located dead behind a building in the area of William Street and Carson Avenue.  Officers responded and processed the scene. ID Released For Man Found Floating In Cove On Long Island Police have released the name of a man whose body was found floating along the shoreline of a Long Island cove. Keith Viagas, age 63, of Noyac, a hamlet of Southampton, was found around 11:45 a.m., Monday, Aug. 9. According to Lt. Susan Ralph, of the Southampton Police, a caller reported a man floating on the shoreline of Sag Harbor Cove. Police responded to the area and found Viagas on the coastline, Ralph said.
