Letter To The Editor: Vote Pound Ridge Democrats Daily Voice accepts signed and original letters to the editor up to 350 words. To send a letter, e-mail poundridge@dailyvoice.com. This letter is in support of the Democratic slate for Pound Ridge Town Board. In candor, the Town was more progressive when there was a Democratic majority on the Board. There were fresh ideas and willingness to try new things, like TEP. My choice for Supervisor is Kevin Hansan. What he may lack in first hand experience running a town, he makes up for in having built a successful business advising towns in more efficiently running themselves. He will not be bound…

Letter To The Editor: Carbonaro's Campaign Is Disgraceful, Promotes Hatred Daily Voice accepts signed and original letters to the editor up to 350 words. To send a letter, e-mail northwestdutchess@dailyvoice.com. Dear Editor: Pathetic, is aptly descriptive of Joan Carbonaro's recent mailings to the Rhinebeck/Clinton residents and reflects the desperation of an unqualified candidate. Joan has been a friend on mine for years now, and it surprised me that she and her wife and campaign manager, Laura, deemed it necessary to stoop so low as to use dirty-politics. Ms. Carbonaro is a Conservative Republican who has worked on behalf of the Trump campaign and voted for D…

Letter To The Editor: Bob Outhouse Is Unqualified Daily Voice accepts signed and original letters to the editor up to 350 words. To send a letter, e-mail ossining@dailyvoice.com. To the Editor: Mr. Outhouse brags about his record as a well-loved officer who never had any complaints or issues against him. That is not true. This happened about twenty-two years ago. I was on my way to teach my evening class at Westchester Community College when a cop from a northern Westchester town made an illegal turn and hit my car. The driver’s partner came over to my car to see if I was okay. He said, “I don’t know what he [his partner] was thinking.” A…

Letter To The Editor: Vote Pound Ridge Republicans Daily Voice accepts signed and original letters to the editor up to 350 words. To send a letter, e-mail poundridge@dailyvoice.com. To the editor: This seems like an easy election in Pound Ridge. The current Town Board majority is doing a fine job. Taxes are stable, there is progress in Scotts Corners, new residents are moving in. The Democratic platform seems to have three planks: (1) Raise our property values. But what do they know about raising property values, net of costs? The business experiences they cite do not include this rare skill. Their concrete idea is to run a shuttle from S…
