Nyack Yoga Studio To Raise Money For NYC Mammas Give Back Charity
NYACK, N.Y. -- Soul Flyte, a yoga and fitness studio in Nyack, will donate the proceeds from two classes to a cause that supports at-risk moms.
According to the studio, all money raised will go to NYC Mammas Give Back, a nonprofit that supplies baby clothes and other items to needy parents.
The classes are set for 3 p.m. - 4 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. - 5:15 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 27, at Soul Flyte, 78 Main St., Nyack.
Suggested donations of $20 are being asked. Cash or checks are accepted.

Oral Surgery, Tech Firm To Enter Mix At Ridge Hill In Yonkers
YONKERS, N.Y. -- An oral surgery center and a tech company will be added to the mix at Yonkers’s Ridge Hill, according to Colliers International, a real estate service that has been lining up tenants for the retail, dining, and entertainment mecca.
Al Gutierrez, Colliers’s executive managing director, said two new long-term leases -- totaling 6,200 square feet -- have been arranged at 73 Market Street, a building that is part of Forest City Ratner Companies's mixed-use development.

'Shop Hop' At Edgewater's City Place Loaded With Holiday Fun
EDGEWATER, N.J. -- Patrons of City Place at the Promenade in Edgewater were treated recently to caroling, face-painting, and other holiday fun on a warm, Saturday afternoon.
There were selfies with Santa and local high school choirs sang at the “Holiday Shop Hop,” which took place on Saturday, Dec. 5, and Saturday, Dec. 12.
Another “Hop” is set for from noon to 5 p.m. this Saturday, Dec. 19. The Holy Angels Choir is scheduled to perform.

Clarkstown's Younghans Named State's Top Secondary Assistant Principal
CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. – Clarkstown High School South's assistant principal, Matthew Younghans, has been chosen for a top award by the state School Administrators Association, according to a report in the New City Patch.
Younghans is now officially the 2016 New York State Secondary Assistant Principal of the Year, an honor given only to the very best educational leaders, the media outlet reported.
He was recognized for a number of contributions, most notably his mentoring of new teachers, his guidance of students, and his approachable and consistent leadership style, the report said.
