Ramapo Police Seek Suspects In Hillcrest Mugging RAMAPO, N.Y. -- A 40-year-old man was attacked and robbed by a group of teens who had followed him from the 7-Eleven store in Hillcrest early Thursday morning, Ramapo police said. Police said the victim had left the store at the corner of North Main Street and East Eckerson Road around 2 a.m. and was walking on State Street when he was confronted by the teens. He was struck on the head with a blunt object -- possibly a baseball bat -- and his cell phone was stolen, police said. The victim was taken to a hospital. According to police, an unidentified 28-year-old woman punched and kicked an unidentified man in front of the children, who ranged in age from two to eight. State Issues Police Guidelines For Human Trafficking Cases Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced new guidelines on Wednesday that will help law enforcement agencies handle human trafficking cases.
