Yorktown Resident Charged With Interfering In Police Investigation YORKTOWN, N.Y. -- A Yorktown man is facing charges after he interfered with officers investigating a domestic dispute, police said. Connor M. Sweeney, 20, was arrested on Saturday, March 26, at his home on Longvue Street after someone at the home called police to report a fight. Police said Sweeney interfered with the investigation by threatening members of his family and by refusing to comply with the officers’ directions. Driver Pleads Guilty In Bardonia Crash That Injured Five People CLARKSTOWN, N.Y. – A Pearl River man has pleaded guilty to vehicular assault and other charges in an accident that hurt five people, according to a report on lohud.com Matthew Beckerle, 50, was drunk when he plowed his truck into the back of another vehicle on Route 304 in the Clarkstown hamlet of Bardonia in summer 2015, the lohud.com report said.
