A young teen boy has been arrested on a charge of assault after authorities say he chucked a television at a man during a heated argument. The incident occurred on Sunday, May 19 in New Cassel, according to Nassau County Police. Just before 7 p.m. that day, a 15-year-old teenager and a 56-year-old man got into a verbal altercation at their home. A teenage suspect has been apprehended after an armed robbery at a Long Island gas station. A man has been accused of using his cellphone to take pictures up the skirt of a 43-year-old woman at a store on Long Island. The incident allegedly happened Thursday, May 9 at the Dollar Tree on Broadhollow Road in East Farmingdale. Authorities are searching for a man who snuck onto a FedEx truck and took off with over a dozen packages. The Great Neck incident occurred on Friday, May 10, Nassau County Police announced. A dozen people were charged in an overnight sobriety checkpoint on Long Island at the outset of the Memorial Day weekend.
