Popular kielbasa sausage products that were sold nationwide are subject to a massive recall due to concerns of potential contamination - specifically small pieces of rubber. Wisconsin-based Salm Partners announced this week that an estimated 35,430 pounds of Johnsonville turkey kielbasa sausage are subject to the recall, according to the US Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS). Rockland County's Dee's Country Deli at 51 N Liberty Drive closed on Friday, March 1 in Stony Point after owner Tom Sayre announced he was retiring.
