Following a warm and dry day on Tuesday, May 7, there will be separate chances for showers and thunderstorms followed by cooler conditions by week's end.
According to the National Weather Service, Tuesday's high temperature will be in the upper 70s, about 5 to 10 degrees above normal, as high pressure builds with mostly sunny skies.

Forecasters Eyeing Potential Tropical System As End Of Hurricane Season Nears
With just one week remaining in the 2023 hurricane system, forecasters are monitoring a system that could form in the Atlantic.
It's located in the central subtropical Atlantic.

The Northern Taurid — the second half of the Taurid Meteor Shower — peaks on Saturday, Nov. 11 and Sunday, Nov. 12, according to Space.com.
