Man Flashed Kids Multiple Times In VA: Police A 68-year-old Virginia man was arrested and charged with exposing himself in front of children multiple times for months, authorities said. Robert Devine, of Triangle, frequently exposed himself and made lewd gestures with children present between September 2022 and March 2023, Prince William County police said. He was charged on Sunday, July 9, with seven counts of taking indecent liberties with children and three counts of indecent exposure. One Dead, Another Injured From Jump In Jersey City Fire One person was killed in a fire in Jersey City early Monday morning, July 10, authorities said. A man who was pulled from the 269 269 Stegman St., blaze that broke out around 6:50 a.m. died at the hospital, while one other person who jumped from the second floor was injured, according to Kimberly Wallace-Scalfione, a spokeswoman for the mayor's office. Community Rallies Around Families Of Newark Firefighters Killed Newark firefighters Augusto "Augie" Acabou and Wayne "Bear" Brooks made the ultimate sacrifice when they were killed battling a massive ship fire at Port Newark on Wednesday, July 5. Now, the community wants to give back. A fundraiser was created by the Newark Firefighters Union to assist the families of the two men killed. Irvington Man Hit 13-Year-Old Boy With Car, Fled Scene: Prosecutors Odaniel Exmina, a 54-year-old Irvington resident, was arrested and charged after he hit a 13-year-old boy with his car and left the scene on Saturday, July 8, authorities said. Livvy Dunne Visits Paramus Gymnastics School It was a homecoming for Livvy Dunne. The champion college gymnast and Hillsdale native recently visited ENA Gymnastics in Paramus, the gymnastics school that she attended growing up. Craig Zappa, the coach at Ena Gymnastics, said Dunne always stops by when she's in town. Dunne now attends Louisiana State University and was recently featured in Sports Illustrated's annual swimsuit issue. She has made millions off her TikTok videos and has four million followers on her Instagram account.

Man Fatally Stabbed At Plainfield Train Station: Prosecutors A 45-year-old Plainfield man was fatally stabbed at the Plainfield Train Station on the afternoon of July 6, authorities said. At 2 p.m. police from Plainfield and NJ Transit responded to the train station and found Juquin Smith, suffering from stab wounds, Union County Prosecutor William Daniel said. Elizabeth Man Shot Victim In The Head: Prosecutors A 20-year-old Elizabeth man was arrested and charged with shooting David Guevara in the head last month, prosecutors said. Joel Argueta was hit with a first-degree murder charge on Thursday, July 6, Union County Prosecutor William A. Man Who Beat Wife Dead With Buddha Statue After Suffocating Her Gets Prison Time In Maryland A man who suffocated his wife with a pillowcase then beat her to death with a Buddha statue in their home has learned his fate. Reginald Dunlap, a 45-year-old Silver Spring resident, was sentenced to 55 years in prison for murdering his wife, Lauren Charles in 2021, authorities said. FBI Seeking To Exhume Body Of Woman Slain 54 Years Ago, Featured In Netflix Doc It's been almost 54 years since Joyce Malecki's unsolved murder. Now her killing might be one step closer to being solved. The FBI is seeking an order to exhume her body, Kurt Wolfgang, the executive director of the Maryland Crime Victim's Resource Center said. Malecki was 20 years old on Nov. 11, 1969, when she disappeared. Malecki was found dead two days later at Fort Meade, and is buried at Loudon Park National Cemetery in Baltimore.
