Man Passed Out Driving Stolen Vehicle In Morris County: Police A 34-year-old Lebanon man was arrested and charged in Morris County on Tuesday, June 25 after police found him passed out while his vehicle was running in the roadway, authorities said. At 6 a.m., officers located a vehicle on Flocktown Road and found the man, who was not identified, passed out and operating a vehicle under the influence, Washington Township police said. The vehicle had been reported stolen earlier, officers said. The man was arrested and charged with DWI, possession of a stolen vehicle and possession of stolen property, police said. Natasha Olson Of Elmwood Park Dies, 28 Natasha Olson, a 28-year-old Elmwood Park resident, died on Tuesday, June 18, 2024. In her obituary on the Patrick J Conte Funeral Home website, Natasha is being remembered for her boundless curiosity and radiant smile.  She is survived by her parents, Elizabeth and Eric, siblings, Maxwell and Astrid and stepfather, Ralph, according to her obituary. A funeral was held on Wednesday, June 25 at St. Leo's Roman Catholic Church in Elmwood Park and she was buried at George Washington Memorial Park in Paramus. At 11:45 p.m., officers responded to a crash between a BMW and a Subaru on the 400 block of East 1st Avenue, Roselle police said. The crash caused the Subaru to roll over and the BMW to burst into flames, police said. A passerby pulled out Amaro of the BMW before it became engulfed in flames, police said. 18 Displaced By East Orange Fire, Officials Say A fire ripped through a three-family home in East Orange on the early morning of Saturday, June 29, displacing 18 people, authorities said. At 5:23 a.m., firefighters in East Orange responded to the blaze at 135 Greenwood Avenue and were able to bring the fire under control 30 minutes later, a spokeswoman for the city said. Three families, comprised of 18 people, were able to escape the fire with no injuries, authorities said. The American Red Cross is assisting the displaced families as the home was deemed inhabitable, authorities said.
