The office from which the money went missing collects taxes for the City of New Rochelle, the New Rochelle School District, Westchester County and more, according to lohud.com. Yorktown Resident Charged With Traffic Violations YORKTOWN HEIGHTS, N.Y. -- Edward Tompkins, a 54-year-old Yorktown resident, was charged with numerous traffic violations, according to the Yorktown Police Department. Police said an officer was investigating property damage during a June 5 auto accident on Greenwood Street. After the investigation, Tompkins was found to be operating a motor vehicle while his registration was suspended, a misdemeanor, police said.
