Community Fund of Darien Supports AmeriCares Norwalk Clinic
DARIEN, Conn. -- The Community Fund of Darien has awarded a $25,000 grant to the Bob Macauley AmeriCares Free Clinic of Norwalk to support free primary care services for low-income children and adults without health insurance. Founded in 1994, the clinic serves more than 800 residents of Norwalk and surrounding towns. Police Issue 50 Tickets In Taconic State Parkway Speed Detail
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The New York State Police in Hawthorne issued 50 tickets during a six-hour speed enforcement initiative Thursday, according to officials. The focus of the initiative was on the Taconic State Parkway. A majority of the tickets issued were for speeding, police said.
