Pair Taken To Trauma Center After Car Plunges Into Hunterdon County Pond (Photos) Two people were rescued and taken to a trauma center with serious injuries after their car veered off a Hunterdon County roadway and plunged into a pond early Monday morning, authorities said. The Whitehouse Rescue Squad responded with local police to the crash off Higginsville Road in Readington and found the trapped victims around 7:30 a.m., the squad said. Lehigh Valley Native Stephan Moussa Dies, 31 Lehigh Valley native Stephan Michael Moussa died at his home in Forks Township on Saturday, Nov. 26. He was 31. Born in Bethlehem, Stephan graduated from Easton High School in 2010, his obituary says. Stephan then joined the family business at Rocco’s Pizza & Italian Restaurant in Phillipsburg. He spent his free time collecting and trading coins and cards and was interested in the stock market, his memorial says. He also loved the Phillies and Eagles. Serious 2-Car Crash On Route 22 Traps Driver (Photos) Crews were quick to rescue a trapped driver Sunday afternoon following a two-car crash on Route 22. The Hanover Township Volunteer Fire Company responded to the reported crash with injuries in the eastbound lanes near milepost 327.4 in Hanover Township and found the trapped driver around 1 p.m., the squad said. Pedestrian Killed, Driver Hurt In Serious Morris County Crash: Authorities A 77-year-old pedestrian was killed and the driver was hospitalized after a serious Thursday evening crash in Morris County, authorities said. Francisco Martinez was struck by a 2008 Infiniti on Whippany Road by Lindsley Drive in Morris Township around 5:50 p.m., MCPO Public Information Officer Meghan Knab told DailyVoice.com. Martinez, of Dover, was pronounced dead at the scene. The Infiniti driver was taken to a nearby hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, Knab said. The investigation was ongoing.
