Greenwich's Chamber Hosts After Six Networking Event On Thursday GREENWICH, Conn. -- The Greenwich Chamber of Commerce is hosting January's After Six networking event on Thursday at club Equinox. Fifth-Grader Wins National Geographic Bee At Stamford's Newfield School STAMFORD, Conn. — Fifth-grader Arjun Anand won the National Geographic Bee held at Newfield Elementary School in Stamford. By winning, Arjun has qualified to compete in the first round of the state competition, which brings him closer to the overall prize of a $50,000 college scholarship. Norwalk Teen Follows Family Tradition, Earns Eagle Scout Honor NORWALK, Conn. -- An Eagle Court of Honor was held recently to recognize the achievement of Michael Dorrico Jr. of Troop 19 in Norwalk. Michael is the latest member of his family to become an Eagle Scout. His father and an uncle also earned Scouting’s highest rank.
