Council Releases Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan For Norwalk
FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. -- The Western Connecticut Council of Governments has released its draft 2016-21 Natural Hazard Mitigation Plan for the municipalities of Darien, Greenwich, New Canaan, Norwalk, Stamford, Weston, Westport and Wilton.
The plan, which is the product of extensive technical analysis, is designed to provide residents, businesses, and emergency responders with information on storms and other extreme weather events, vulnerable locations, and methods to mitigate damage and limit disruption. EDGEWOOD, Ky. -- Regina Cordelli, formerly of White Plains, died Monday, Feb. 9, 2015 at St. Elizabeth Hospital in Edgewood, Ky. She was 99.
Her husband, Nazarene Cordelli, preceded her in 2005. She will be dearly missed by her sons Dominick (Milly) Cordelli and Stephen Cordelli; four grandchildren and their spouses; her brother; and seven great-grand children.

FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- David J. Sullivan Jr., of Fairfield, former long-time resident of the Black Rock section of Bridgeport, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015. He was 83.
Born July 12, 1931 in Bridgeport to David J. Sullivan and Irene C. Sullivan, Sullivan was raised in Fairfield, graduating from St. Thomas Aquinas School in 1945 and the Fairfield College Preparatory School in 1949. He received a B.S. degree from Fordham University in 1953, and while there, was a member of the Army R.O.T.C. He was commissioned a 2nd Lieutenant upon graduation, serving in the U.S. Army from 1954-56.

STAMFORD, Conn. -- Leola Y. Edmonds, died on Saturday, Feb. 7. She was 77.
She was born on July 11, 1937, in Stamford, Conn., to Scott and Anna Mallory Edmonds.
Edmonds graduated from Howard University and was the director of fashion for the Board of Education in New Haven, Conn. until her retirement.

William McLeod, Volunteer Fireman, Of Stamford
STAMFORD, Conn. -- William M. McLeod, a lifelong resident of Stamford, died on Thursday, Feb. 5. He was 76.
McLeod, along with his service as a volunteer fireman, was a member of the Moose Lodge, and a special police officer. He retired from his job with the Stamford Advocate in 2005.
McLeod was born Sept. 4, 1938, to George and Jean McLeod.
He is survived by his wife, Patricia McNamara McLeod; three siblings and their spouses: Betty and Tom Smeriglio of Florida, George and Mary Ellen McLeod of Massachusetts, and Johanna and Gary Fowler of Tennessee.

Vincent Testani, 95, Of Norwalk
NORWALK, Conn. -- Vincent (Vincenzo) Testani, of Norwalk, husband of Nancy (Nazzarena) Savo Testani, died at his home Feb. 6, 2015. He was 95.
Born in Frosinone, Italy Feb. 8, 1919, he was a son of Enrico and Pasqua Arduini Testani and was a long-time resident of Bridgeport and Fairfield before moving to Norwalk. A U.S. Army veteran, he proudly served his country during World War II. Testani was a service technician for the Southern Connecticu Gas Company before his retirement with many years of dedicated service.
