Bridgeport Hospital Auxiliary Gala Raises $90,000 For Patient Care BRIDGEPORT, Conn. -- The Bridgeport Hospital Auxiliary spring gala, “Dancing with the Hospital Stars,” raised $90,000 to support hospital services, organizers said.  The April 30 fundraiser was at Brooklawn Country Club in Fairfield and included a silent auction. Nearly 200 guests attended. The highlight of the event was a dance contest featuring hospital staff members and volunteers teamed with professional dancers from the Fred Astaire Dance Studio of Southport.  Auxiliary member Maria Watson, of Easton, and her dance partner Henry won the contest.
