PEEKSKILL, N.Y. -- Embark Peekskill presents "Emotional Creature - the Secret Lives of Girls Around the World," a play by Eve Ensler.
Ensler, known for her groundbreaking play "The Vagina Monologues," created "Emotional Creature" based on interviews with teens and young women around the world. The result is a collage of monologues, chat sessions, spoken word and songs about body image, dieting, sex, abortion, relationships and more. WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Westchester County is rated as improving among counties to live in the nation, and is ranked relatively high, according to The New York Times.
The study measured six categories, including education, median household income, unemployment rate, life expectancy and disability rate to rank which counties in the United States are difficult to live in, according to the New York Times.

PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Putnam County is improving among counties to live in the nation and ranks relatively high nationally, according to The New York Times.

Katonah Resident Faces Traffic Charges In Yorktown
KATONAH, N.Y. – Yorktown police charged 71-year-old Olindo Colarossi, of Katonah, on Tuesday with several traffic infractions, according to police.
Colarossi was charged with operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration, as well as leaving the scene of a property damage auto accident, operating a vehicle without insurance and failing to yield right of way, according to police.
Officers were investigating an auto accident near 2000 Commerce St., when the defendant allegedly failed to yield right of way, which cause the accident, then left the scene, reported police.

Bird Flu Leads To Surge In Egg Prices
WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The United States is facing one of the worst outbreaks of the Avian bird-flu in history, which is forcing many poultry companies to stop running and increase egg and turkey costs, according to wsj.com.
Although the government has designated approximately $400 million to help the poultry farmers in need, the bird-flu has killed more than 38 million birds, 32 million of which are egg-laying hens, reported wsj.com.
