Man Hospitalized After Being Hit By Scooter In Yonkers Authorities are looking for the rider of a scooter that struck a man in Westchester and left him hospitalized. The crash happened on Friday, Aug. 30 just after 5 p.m. near the White Castle location at 257 South Broadway in Yonkers, where a scooter hit a pedestrian, according to Yonkers Police Sgt. Car Flips On Roof In Croton-On-Hudson Crash A car overturned following a crash on a road in the region. The incident happened just after 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 3, in Northern Westchester when the car flipped on the eastern half of Colabaugh Pond Road in Croton-on-Hudson, according to the village's fire department. Lane Reduction To Slow Traffic On I-684 Stretch In Fairfield County Traffic on a stretch of I-684 in Westchester and Fairfield counties is set to be affected by a series of lane reductions, officials announced. Both directions of Interstate 684 in North Castle and Greenwich, between Exit 2 (Route 120) and Exit 3 (Route 22) will be reduced to one lane on Wednesday, Sept. 4, and Thursday, Sept. 5, the New York State Department of Transportation announced. The lane closures will be put into place between 8 p.m. on Wednesday and 5 a.m. on Thursday. The traffic impacts will allow crews to perform bridge work, officials said.
