A Long Island pedestrian was hospitalized in critical condition after being struck by a car on Wednesday, July 8, police said. The 24-year-old man was crossing Lakeview Avenue at North Village Avenue in Rockville Centre around 9:45 a.m. when he was struck, the Nassau County Police Department said.
