A former cemetery manager admitted stealing more than $40,000 from one of the Capital Region's most historic landmarks and spending some of the money on trips to Las Vegas, Walt Disney World, and other personal expenses, prosecutors announced.
David Eslinger, 58, of Fort Edward, pleaded guilty to Grand Larceny in the Third Degree and Identity Theft in the First Degree before Albany County Judge Roger McDonough on Thursday, March 27, according to Albany County District Attorney Lee C. Kindlon.

A 30-year-old man was arrested on multiple felony charges following an early-morning burglary investigation in Ulster County, police announced.
Jared P. Raymond, 30, of Saugerties, was arrested just before 5 a.m. on Saturday, June 13, according to the Saugerties Police Department.
He was charged with first-degree burglary, second-degree assault, and third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, all felony offenses.
