Hit-And-Run Barricaded Suspect Charged, Victim Sought: Guttenberg Police Malik Moore, the 45-year-old Orange resident who barricaded himself inside a home with a knife after striking a pedestrian and fleeing the scene has been hit with multiple charges, Guttenberg Police announced on Tuesday, July 4. East Orange Teen Fatally Shot: Prosecutors An 18-year-old East Orange resident was fatally shot on Monday, July 3 authorities said. At 6:55 p.m., police were notified Nicholas Edwards was transported to CareWell Health Medical Center in East Orange after suffering a gunshot wound, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Fatal Shooting In Newark, Man Charged: Prosecutors A 34-year-old Newark man was charged after authorities said he fatally shot a 47-year-old Newark man on Sunday, July 2. Coyote Attack, Sightings Close Two North Jersey Parks In the wake of a coyote attack and coyotes being spotted on the prowl, two North Jersey parks are closed to the public. On Saturday, July 1, the Town of Westfield announced it is closing Brightwood Park after an aggressive coyote was spotted. The "Jersey Shore" cast member — whose real name is Jenni Farley — is apparently traveling to Rome with her fiancée, Ring of Honor's Zack Clayton. Hoboken Man Sold $10K Worth Of Cocaine To Undercover Cop: Prosecutors A 41-year-old Hoboken man was arrested on Thursday, June 29 after he sold cocaine to an undercover cop, authorities said. Gustavo Santos sold cocaine to an undercover officer multiple times Hudson County Prosecutor Esther Suarez said.
