Just this week, students learned to make a simple, no-bake chocolate tart out of common household ingredients, a petit pot de crème infused with orange zest and cardamom, and a chocolate fondant. Westport To Close Greens Farms Road For Repaving Work WESTPORT, Conn. -- Greens Farms Road between Prospect Road and the Sherwood Island Connector will be closed for paving on Saturday, Nov. 22, the town of Westport announced. The announcement of the road closure was made by the Westport Public Works Department. Westport Public Engineer Peter Ratkiewich said the town will not be alternating traffic throughout the day and only residents will be given access to the street. It is recommended that motorists seek alternate routes and to expect delays.

Wheelchair Sports Federation Holds First Practice In Brewster Ice Arena PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. – The Wheelchair Sports Federation New York Sled Rangers, a sled hockey team for physically disabled youth ages 5 through 21, introduced the sport to the area with its first practice recently at the Brewster Ice Arena. Sled hockey allows children and adults with physical disabilities the opportunity to enjoy an adaptive version of traditional ice hockey, with similar concepts and rules.
