A 27-year-old Morristown man was arrested after he led police on a high-speed pursuit through Denville on the early morning of Thursday, Jan. 25.
At 1:24 a.m., Denville police observed a black Hyundai Tucson, driven by Anthony Granados, make an abrupt lane change while driving eastbound on Route 10, officers said.
Officers tried to follow the vehicle, but Granados only sped up, police said.

Silas Moore, 37, admitted to his role in the May robbery of M&T Bank in Dunkirk that resulted in a high-speed pursuit with deputies from the Calvert County Sheriff's Office.

New York State Police arrested a man following a police high-speed pursuit when he fled during a routine traffic stop in Rockland County.
Trevor S. Calder, age 37, of the Bronx, was arrested on Wednesday, Jan. 7, after fleeing during an attempted traffic stop on the Palisades Parkway in the town of Stony Point, said Trooper Steven Nevel.
The incident began when a trooper patrolling the parkway spotted a 2014 BMW traveling west in violation of traffic laws. The trooper attempted to stop the vehicle and instead of pulling over, Calder fled, Nevel said.
