Minibike Fails Rider In Race With Stafford Cops
A minibike operator who told police he fled a traffic stop because he thought he could get away, didn't, authorities in Stafford said.
Stafford County Deputy AT Leckemby was heading east on Garrisonville Road near Onville Road when he noticed a minibike with no lights on it around 8:35 p.m. Nov. 23, the Stafford County sheriff's office said in a release.
The operator, later identified as Gunther Raimund, 24, looked back at Leckemby when he initiated a traffic stop, then hit the gas, authorities said.

An ex-con was caught with a loaded gun, a large-capacity ammunition magazine and a considerable amount of pot for sale at a hotel near the George Washington Bridge, authorities said.

A Philadelphia man who sex-trafficked a 15-year-old girl was sentenced Monday, June 6 to 17 to 40 years in state prison, authorities said.
Andrew Hall, 29, pleaded guilty on Feb. 28 to a slew of charges, including human trafficking of a minor, statutory sexual assault of a minor, promoting prostitution of a minor, and photographing child sex acts, according to the Bucks County District Attorney's Office.

Man Nabbed For Prostitution, Sex Trafficking At Long Island Hotel, Police Say
A 36-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly promoting prostitution and sex trafficking on Long Island.
Robert Richards, age 36, of Springfield Gardens in Queens, was arrested on Wednesday, Feb. 24, in Rockville Centre following an investigation at an area hotel, said the Nassau County Police.
According to Narcotics Vice Squad detectives, an investigation at the Best Western located at 173 Sunrise Highway led to the arrest of Richards.
Richards was charged with sex trafficking and promoting prostitution.
He will be arraigned on Friday, Feb. 26, in Mineola.
